Backpacks for Christmas

Churches across Australia annually participate in "Backpacks for Christmas." By collectively raising funds, making cards, and sending these to the Perth area churches to purchase bulk supplies and cater a meal.

Over 200 backpacks are packed according to age and gender per the quantities requested by Missionary Pastor You-Sin Houe.

A special Christmas meal is shared between the local Perth Nazarene churches, including the local Aboriginal community when the backpacks are delivered. Pastor You-Sin then travels 300 km to distribute the local backpacks across several Aboriginal communities in Western Australia!
